Pre Production:
This is the process of preparing all elements involved in a film, play or other performance. pre production ends when the plannoing rnds and the content starts being produced.

Production:
This is the process of making the film, and where the raw elements for the film are recored during the film shoot.

Post Production:
This is part of filmmaking, video production and photgraphy process. it occurs in the making of motion pictures, television programs, advertising, audio recordings, photography and digital art.

These are films produced by normally a small group or individual who maintains control all elements of producing a film.

Marketing:
This is how the finished product of the films are presented to the audience in order to attract them into watching or buying the films which then serves their purpose of selling their product and making money.

Distribution:
This is how a film is distributed or made available for viewing.
This may be through: Dvds, video on demand, television, download, netflix, or pay-paper view.

What does box office mean?
Box office is where tickets are bought or reserved by the oublic with admission to an event.

What is the BFI?
The BFI  is the British Film Institute. they are a charitable organisation established by royal charter. They award Lottery funding to film production, distribution, education, audience development and market intelligence and research.
 
How do cinemas make their money?
They make their money from ticket sales, and from the refreshments they sell from concession stands.
