liam honeytrap

Set in Brixton, London, HONEYTRAP tells the story of fifteen year-old Layla who gets sucked into gang activity and sets up the boy who's in love with her to be killed.

  • The film was directed by Rebecca Johnson who has also direct Top Girl, Electric and That Sinking Feeling. 
  • Rebecca Johnson also wrote the film, she is known for directing all the films she writes.
The budget for the film was £8,560.

The film is only being released in cinemas nationwide meaning it will only be shown in Great Britain.

Honeytrap is based on true event that took place in Brixton when a teenage boy was stabbed to death because he was set up by a girl who he was in love with but she had the intention of setting up his death.
Their has also been a TV film about these events called "my murder".
